Noticed that there's another open position in that id--t markets legal group. The "manager" probably brown-nosed the general counsel this time to get it rather than her mo--nic supervisor. I guess she needs another body to do non-existent or busy work meanwhile other groups actually could use another person to do substantive work. What a waste of resources!

Her clueless manager will give her another head count because she'll continue spending all day with him behind closed doors. No wonder she got promoted! The attorney who stepped into the ousted manager's role is very smart and experienced. Let's see how long he lasts before she starts making his life a living nightmare. She bullies and lies about the competent attorneys. She needs to be replaced with a competent manager.

As long as she's not given another head count for pushing him out. It's just a numbers game to boost her sad ego. Markets Legal doesn't even need all the people that are there now. What about Charlie's collaboration? People are left without work much of the day sometimes. Either get rid of some or let them work in other areas too. It's a custody bank so no need to have all those people in that group. Other groups seem to manage very well with less resources but then again we are talking about adults.

Very bad move to have an attorney take on the position of head of HR. He will just continue to protect his friends in legal like he has been doing, probably so he can advance if he returns to the department. One of the senior attorneys in NY was recently pushed out of his job by his loser of a manager and her manager. She harassed and berated the attorney on a daily basis, and cried and lied about him to upper management, HR, and the clients. The poor guy was completely humiliated. His manager has a history of literally crying and lying to upper management and HR to get her way. That was how she managed to advance to the position she is in now. Very pathetic department.

Or employees get harassed to the point of leaving or being forced out by incompetent management.

The lesson from Markets Legal is if you are a woman, cry, blatantly lie about others, and spend most of your day following around your manager who is a complete mo--n, you will get what you want. Charlie should fire them all including the GC for not reigning in his department.

@YgufUJp-5mif Look at Markets Legal. They went from GREAT management to the clueless bozo management that they have now. How did that happen?!

This isn't about the new head of hr specifically. Can't speak for all of legal but some of the management is completely incompetent and questionable, especially in NY. You question the more recent promotions to management but then understand when the promoted manager hangs out with their own manager behind closed doors over 80 percent of the day. How embarrassing!

Hopefully, he is not as useless as the rest of the legal department.
