Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Hitting the brick wall

Looks like things are not working out the 3 stooges’s way:

  1. Flat revenues

  2. Analyst at clear and vocal about impact of share buybacks on EPS

  3. Growing number of critical reports noting lack of cloud growth

  4. Publicity about recent and prior layoffs, including in cloud units

  5. Criticize of underinvestment in cloud infrastructure, negative comparisons to real cloud compNies like AWS, Google, MSFT etc

Time running out for the 3 stooges

"Soon they'll start threatening us that speaking to the press and media is against policy"

FWIW, that's true at any large corporation.

Cow@rdly analysts starting to fess up now that fitst layoffs are in open.

The layoffs are not over.

But those LE fans who keep buying up the stock and are bullish on the company...be careful of them if you have a lot of stock or options.

When LE is gone, stock will go way down when those fans panic. Research your alternatives to protect your nestegg.

People are thinking that the layoffs are over after this round. That's not true. A lot of people noted that the wrong people were being laid off. That will only increase the problems at Oracle.

Managers clutching their "yes"-men tightly through the layoffs will find out that the talent they let go was what they actually needed. Hiring newbies will not help. Guys just of college are cheap, but they have no experience. You are looking at years to get those people up to speed and Oracle doesn't have the time to do that. Oracle needed to hit the ground running.

So, there will be more bad and inadequate products to come. Flat revenue will turn into declining revenue as the customers continue to leave. More layoffs will ensue. This will happen, there is no way it will be corrected with the corrupt management on-board.
