Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

OTH is the acronym for the 'Oracle Termination Hub'

The OTH facility in Bangalore should actually be called the 'Oracle Termination Hub', with maximum number of bloodbaths reported from that facility.

In fact employees from other facilities are also invited to this facility for their lay-off meetings.

Whats a 'Vastu' this building has. LE, MH and SC should work in this building for a few months too.

Oh this is not some this is a majority, and their management. I do lead my team and we are one of the most innovative support teams out there. We are doing what others wont or cant. I can lead my team, I can show the others how to be innovative, but it is on them to do so especially if I do not manage them.

Not sure which team you are working with. Generally support is the only team which is given documents and resolution plan based on last issues. Only they have Pre defined notes about what exactly to do for an issue pattern.

Anyway, I don't belong to support team. So would let others correct you.

I won't generalise, based on behaviour of few. And yes, if they are in Oracle half of their motivation is dead. And other half will be dead after working in teams having you. Go and guide team. Be the change. Be the leader.

Thank god banglore people are being laid off, so here is my rant. They are unable to think outside the box. Everything has to be in a playbook or written down line per line. I am seriously not understanding how India is innovative, all I see is very linear workers, and this will be the downfall if they cant have people who innovate. I am sorry I just see many workers in India complain if it isn't in their RUN BOOK. If it isn't they do not know other ways to solve the problem, or toss it over the fence because they dont know what to do.

Yes that's been happening every hour since last week. The HRs hands a re full. HR deserves a bonus for the long-hours they are putting this month in laying-off people.
