The GM at my club let us know we will no longer have a night shift. It will be split between 4am-12:30pm and 3pm-11:30pm. This hasn’t been put into place yet though. Does anyone know if we will have the choice of the shift or will we be forced where they choose to put us?

How does this block schedule work for team leads in the fresh areas?
So does that shift stay the same for now on or is it a rotating shift after so many months?
As far as I know my club hasn’t been spoken to about this yet. We are supposed to transition to day stocking by June. I can’t wait!!
PRobably up to management. However when we switched we were given a choice with seniority taken into account. For example if EVERYONE wanted the same shift then the most senior employees would get it and the rest would be stuck on the other one. We didn't have that problem since it actually ended up about half and half with most of the senior employees choosing the evening shift.
My club still hasn't switched over yet be interesting to see how things run once it does
we still aren't there yet either... I don't know when we will be on this new schedule
