I got laid off from my current team at Oracle IDC (Tech Hub) after spending a few years but had an internal transfer request in the pipeline too. The HR folks that I never saw before deployed for firing employees were so incompetent that they didn't bother to hear about another offer and were just busy making them write resignations letters, go through the cruellest words heard ever and letting go.
It's an utter disgrace to see that they're increasing costs in order to cut costs. Typical LE way!
