Now that the bulk of the layoffs is done, Oracle has a different problem at hand. In many cases entire teams have been decimated and at the same time business needs either remain the same or where they have been reduced the ratio employee to workload is very imbalanced.
So now what? In a scenario with disengaged, underpaid, and overloaded employees, what kind of compelling arguments will Oracle make so we don't just leave?
Of course, the answer is likely "nothing". Oracle has proven it only cares about investors, not customers and certainly not employees.
And with that in mind, a lot of us layoff survivors will soon be looking for the door.
