BNY Mellon seemed to think they could just get away with laying off hard working professionals with their scripted speech of downsizing and have no negative ramifications. Wrong. I continue to be working with many contacts I know in other financial institutions to make sure they never do business with this joke of a company. In addition, I continue to be in contact with other former employees to make sure they rollover their 401K out of that dump. You might think you have the upper hand, but what goes around comes around. The collapse is coming and I will enjoy every second. Before anyone criticizes me for this post about not caring for any former colleagues, there aren't any left I care about.

There is no strategy , no goal , no vision , they are all over the place ... It's gonna go down big time !!
For the replies that feel the point of the original post was to portray my level of importance, you clearly missed the point & probably still work at this nightmare of a company. The point was to do whatever I could to show a heartless group of people that the way they have treated so many of us was not just going to be accepted without consequences. Even if one contact makes sure no business comes BNY Mellon's way (which has been more than one) & even if one former employee laid off rolled over their 401K plan based on my efforts (which has been more than one) than that's enough of a success for me.

The work is also sh-- , these id--ts who sit in the top management are completely clueless ,they have no idea on how to run the business or take any decisions . It's a sh-- show !
When your contacts and former coworkers stop taking your calls, you will realize that you really weren't that important. Not saying this to be rude, but you are fooling yourself if you think you will have any major impact on the companies success.
