All those that believe Keebler is all washed up, cause all they have are Cheezits......wrong! Enjoy your RX bar, free Friday download! Who owns RX bar? Guess! Kellogg’s. Went from a $10,000 business to $600 million in 5 years!! They have a much more diversified portfolio than most realize! Mondelez is way behind the 8 ball on investing in these smaller, millennials type company!

Be compassionate, reality is a hard pill to swallow for some. If those people cannot see things and do actually believe CAO is for Mondelez to get better orders, bless your poor pathetic sole. CAO will help with better orders, just when dsd ends. Snuggle up next to your new phone tonite when you go to sleep and say your prayers that GS will keep you safe! Just have a back up plan in case he screws you!!

How can you expect a merchandiser to care, when his/her manager couldn’t care a less? They simply turn their phones off! Pathetic! This behavior has been around a long time, only going to get worse. Had a FT merchandiser quit this week, direct result of all these problems. They know where we are headed and realized things are only going from bad to worse! Not worth a potential week of severance! Happily employed elsewhere.

GS had a regional meeting in Columbus about 5 years back and told everyone that the reason of the meeting was to let everyone know their jobs were safe. Three months later the company let go 1/3 of the sales force! Haha! Liar liar pants on fire🤣

Karma is a bitc$! Gets people every time!! Nobody knows of a time line, but anyone who doesn’t know what is coming is really fooling themselves!

Believing anything GS days is someone’s first mistake! He loves to hear himself talk, actually he just plain loves himself! He doesn’t give a $hit about his team! All of a sudden he loves you, just like HR? Seen more maturity from a 5 yr old! Not a bit sincere, sad he’s fooling some people! Been through way to many downsizing’s to be fooled myself!

King of Snacks, good one! We make $ in the US by cost cutting, not growing! I think your facts are a bit off. Regardless...how big WE are is a bit irrelevant in this argument! See, retailers are calling these shots, they own the stores and can dictate how their product arrives. Much more advantageous financially for them to dump dsd! Better prices so they can continue to improve their margins! Funny thing, but they too are in the business to make money, not just Mondelez. Every other country in the world that sells Mondelez, well they do just fine without dsd, and so will the US! Would be incredible nice for retailers to invest all that money in CAO so Mondelez could improve their orders but that’s a bit far fetched! They are investing in CAO so when THEY eliminate dsd, THEY can have a good baseline. Reason people are off a bit on the dates of a departure is because retailers are the ones pulling the plug. Don’t get me wrong, management at Mondelez is well aware of this date and have been working towards a dsd departure. To think it’s efficient to have a branch service stores 5 hours away, then your wrong! Wait till the states pass the new gas tax! That’s a doozy!

As my GM at Kroger just told me....anyone that can’t figure this one out, they are just plain stupid! Gotta agree!!

Have fun with your new phone!

Your right, we are growing. In Asia, India, a little in Europe and South America. We're just not any different than other companies here in the U.S. You might want to put in for a transfer. On second thought, we're not dsd any where else. What convinced me we will being utilizing this inefficient route to market for generations to come is your new phone. Did you think we were going to start ordering through U.S.P.S. when the contract expired with your old one?

Haha! You and your new phone! Funny that you think of that phone as job security! That phone means absolutely nothing. Those phones will be used for DMI and are a tiny investment for a billion dollar company! Mondelez is a global company, did anyone outside the US get those phones? Think not! For those who have predicted a date for dsd ending, yep, a bit premature! That certainly does not eliminate the fact that dsd is ending! Keep getting richer merchandising!!! But start a little savings account, you are gonna need it!

Y'all are spreading propaganda!!! If I listened to you I would have lost my job 2 years ago 😄!!! Always a new date for when we are exiting DSD!! I'll just keep making 💰 while you keep guessing!! We all just got new phones also!! 2 year contract. I don't see us leaving anytime soon! Business as usual!!

I think it is “just you”! I personally read that much differently! Adapting to changing markets certainly doesn’t mean business as usual and no layoffs! Just the opposite. We, are a reactionary company. We are not making more money, just continue to try to keep in the black by cost cutting measures! Read any stock report and it’s easy to see!

Customers buying trends in the US are changing, and have been for years. We are playing catch up trying to react to theses changes.

DSD is not apart of a viable supply chain! Retailers simply don’t want the expense! No we are not too big! They are taking time to ensure CAO is working, thus the comments we hear from mondelez management about “getting better orders”. True statement, but not favorable for those using it as evidence DSD is remaining.

Those that are embracing an exit from DSD are spot on. For the rest, a lesson of hard knocks from big business is on the way!

Propaganda person says business as usual and we are adapting to changing markets. Not sure if it's just me, but that sounds like conflicting statements. You may be right about the "no layoffs" though. Looks like management is harassing people out the door one by one. Severance saver?

Really hard to read some of these posts! Packaged good sales are decreasing in the US. Not only for Keebler, the reason they are selling off their cookies, but also for Mondelez! People are not buying junk, except at WM! 25% of what Mondelez sells is at WM, what does that tell you people! The future is not in junk! Keebler is repositioning itself and broadening their portfolio, as is Mondelez now!

Big changes coming, and one of them is the end of dsd for Mondelez! Get ready, won’t be too much longer! Don’t let them fool you! You will regret it!

It is definitely a joke! Management is PATHETIC! They have always been a joke but now, so far beyond that! This organization is setting themselves up for a huge lawsuit, and there is nobody anymore deserving! Stay tuned! They make things up as they go. Keep good records and save important emails! Time will come!!

Wow, so disillusioned! Of course they said all that! Did you ever ask yourself why? Because all the red flags and indicators that dsd is ending and management is concerned of a mass exodus! Which we are all ready starting to experience, our team is losing people every week! They “need” you until the end. This decision is NOT being made by Mondelez at this point so they can tell you whatever you want to hear! Ordained ministers, the Pope himself, can make all kind of promises because in the end....they will put the heavy on the retailers. People are really gullible. In the end, people need to realize they need to look a little deeper and advocate for themselves! Nobody will hold your hand.

No mass exodus!! No layoffs!! Everything will be fine. My DM said so. And my RDR said that DSD is strong. No layoffs this year he said at our rally meeting. HR manager said that he values all of us. He is so proud to have us. No way they'll let us go. They would be dishonest by doing such a thing

Keebler has nothing to do with Mondelez layoffs!! Business as usual at Mondelez. No layoffs!! We are adapting to the ever changing retail market. CAO makes our out of stocks better. Gives us more time to sell incremental displays. Dmi makes sure that everyone is complying with the store's plan. That makes DSD stronger and more profitable!! Stores won't and can't ever eliminate DSD! We'll be here for year's to come. No layoffs!

Kellogg is selling off all its cookies to refocus on growth brands, big deal! What should’ve our focus is the companies that bought Keebler cookies! They will try to reposition them and grow them.

What we are looking to pick up isn’t here in the US, other than Tates.

People seem to have some conception that Mondelez is closing! All that is happening is they are leaving dsd! There will still be a Mondelez, just minus a whole lot of people!
