Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

The Web Ex are comical

It's clear that HCL has no clue what they have going on. Most of the questions on today's call went unanswered. The folks are hardly understandable and at times seemed frustrated.

I blame a ton of it on Xerox, who just wanted us gone by April 1. After 40 years Ive lost all respect for the X .

Listen people, none of this matters. They don't need to be prepared. They don't need to inform former GIS/XRX employees with a clear direction. Why? Because it is in their best interest to REPLACE US WITH CHEAP LABOR OVERSEAS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you think things will get better soon with these id--ts, you are naive.

It seriously is the craziest thing I've ever been through, I just sat there today listening to the call saying two things, "what the f is he saying" and " this just can't be happening to us". They are clearly not prepared and are struggling, at the end of the call everyone was asking questions and then dead silence on the other end. I blame Xerox, I thing they not only screwed us over but quite clearly screwed over HCL. I truly don't think they can handle what we do, I am now convinced of this!!!!

The call was disappointing and a waste of time as so much goes unanswered. Everything done without care. Some people get info, many don’t, no responses to email and at my Core they are “saving” the VP’s GF. The goal is find a job and get out. Our Sr. Management is becoming useless only worrying about themselves and those who kiss their a--. Good luck to everyone because this nonsense they are putting us through is too stressful.

Let's see what kind of people HCL are. They were lost and unprepared today. A 90 min call going into the 3rd hour is cause for concern. The people they have are very talented and if they use us right, they could probably accomplish a lot but I'm not holding my breath either.

6,000 Xerox employees sold to HCL. They have no clue how talented most of these people are. They’ll never be able to perform even close to what they do. They’ll give up.

HCL does not know what they have gotten themselves in. I understood the lady, but the guy from HR not a word. I truly believe they are going to fire Xerox.
