OP: managers don't give a rat a-- about their managees being laid off.
Oracle is not a tech company but managers company.
Oracle is soon going to be in history books, and become case study for mgmt institutes, as to how titanic can go down.
Don't worry, those who survived the layoff, will be smart enough to escape a sinking ship.. and they'll return that smile back.. But anyway with the severance package(10* AGP+ 2month salary), you should have not only returned the smile, but laughed all the way to the bank..
