There has to be some recourse for re-badged folks. I refuse to believe it's this easy for companies to avoid paying us what we are owed by contract. If it is this easy - just re-badge and get rid of in a year - everybody would be doing it. But I'm not seeing it mentioned that much.
So what gives? What can we do?

You were an employee of Xerox. Xerox paid you to do a job. You did the job. You got paid. Now, they don't need you to do the job. They don't need to pay you. You go get another job.
If you want emotional baggage in your job, go work for your parents or in-laws or something.
