We already tried this last month before HCL had come in and everyone wimped out. Maybe it would have meant something then but its too late now. That's the frustrating part. You did nothing then...were in complete denial even when your sister cores reached out to you to let you know what was going on. It's sad and way too late...

How about moving on instead? If you don't have transferable skills (I'm guessing you don't) that is on you. Acting like a child won't help your situation.

Instead, use the time to polish your resume and get it out there. Look out for yourself first, but don't deceive yourself into thinking any sort of protest will have an impact on the direction Xerox has decided.

What a colossal waste of time. Why don't you create one of those stupid hashtags to make yourself feel better like #HCLBLOWS? That will really show them! If you do pursue this meaningless exercise, at least do something productive with your time because God knows this is the same things as farting in a windstorm and hoping to affect HCL that is sitting 2 miles downwind from you.
You want to actually DO SOMETHING that makes a difference to Johnnie douchebag and Icahn? Send off c-ap loads of toners to customers to drive up expenses. Tell customers that you won't be supporting them any longer as you will be replaced by low information foreign workers in INDIA. Tell them that despite doing a great job for them, you are getting sh-- canned. Don't fret about negative margin contracts as they come through - just move them along. Don't bill equipment in time for month-end. That will increase their expenses and cut their revenue numbers.
See how that works? Worthless symbolism versus real actions. Your choice.

I'm sorry to come crashing down on people's hopes but this will be utterly pointess and a waste of people's time and energy. Nothing will be achieved. Decisions have been made, it may be immoral but it is legal. Desmantling entire units and rebadging/laying off their employees has happened a number of times across other organisations within Xerox - you were just lucky enough not to be affected. I'm not trying to be cynical here but really, in the best interest of everybody, get over it, put your CV up on LinkedIn and move on.
