Just say you are pregnant and had morning sickness...or your significant other had morning sickness. That’s covered.
Death does result in .5 points. However, if the dead person does not call in posthumously, then all life insurance benefits are forfeited for the family. It has to be the dead person that calls--no other family members allowed.
Child sick? Not sure that is covered. The official conference calls and FAQ's said official school closings and official day care closings. Baby sitters do not count as excused. Sick child is not excused. That is what the PPTO excuses or LOA if 4 or more days.
Does anyone know who we contact if we want to Dispute getting a point ? This is to yobcwyp-des
to @yobcwyp Yes the weather related call off being excused or not is strictly based on a percentage of associates who call off. Can't recall the exact number but for hypothetical reasons if say 50% or more of the scheduled associates call off and CHOOSE WEATHER as the reason its excused.. if 49% choose weather and 1% who don't know policy choose sick then it dings everyone. Again the 50% isn't the actual number I'd have to go back and check the policy again i just used it for an example.
Response to the point for daughter being sick you need to dispute that. Should not have been a point. Most of the managers don’t understand the new attendance policy. There is no age mentioned for approving a sick child.
I teceived a point because my daughter was in the emergency room . I think that is crazy . My manager said because she’s not a baby or toddler I get the point . My daughters 18 it shouldn’t matter what age that shouldn’t be considered an absence .
you do get half a point if you die, previous post is lying...
Being sick doesn't count just if ur dead only
Any pregnancy related illness and no documentation required. I think I’m going to be pregnant a lot this year just because.
Jury duty if you get dismissed after I think 2 hrs you must return back to work. If your child's school - daycare closes, death of immediate family, taking an approved leave through segwick. Being called out if your in the military- coast guard. Severe weather but my understanding their better be alot calling out on bad weather. I'm sure I'm missing some or may have made an error on one of these that's what I remembered reading on the wire.
