So you have already accrued 8 hrs PPTO? It takes 30 hrs to get 1 hour. Just started here a few weeks ago. Average a hour a week. It would take approx 7 to 8 weeks to average a 8 hour day of PPTO.
So from what I understand, managers can still approve their favorites which is what happens all the time. Home office should be the ones to approve when making adjustments to point system. If the same manager keeps approving then follow up with them as to why? Why make rules if they aren't followed? Be fair across the board with everyone.
How do you go in from home and do it
That’s right blame the manager for everything like always. It’s called look out for your self no more holding your f---ing hand. Let’s see it’s called we’re all adults here. How about you take responsibility for yourself?
You can find your points on the GTA PORTAL under attendance.
Where can you see your points? How do you know when a manager “unapproves” anything?
@yxp It sounds like a another trust us, the system/process will work except when it doesn't. You follow the rules and still get punished if you don't 'nag' the managers to fix it. If you still get a point it's your fault for either taking a PPTO day off or for not asking management to fix it.
Sigh.... SOWM (Same old Walmart)
So it begins... management favorites will still never get termed because they can still override for them while getting rid of the ones they don't like. This will never change.
The managers have 14 days to fix it. Keep a eye on it and have them fix it
Occurrences do not show up until the next day, you can not code the same day. You 'ding' the associate. If you request PPTO which is PTO-sick/other or PTO-Family Care on the same day of the occurrence, the system 'kicks' it back to management to re-code. They should realize this and pull up your GTA Timesheet and check the PPTO. If it is correct, then they should approve the occurrence.
And even if it's protected like an LOA, you have to remind, ask, nag the managers to override it...
Make sure you select sick or family care because if you select anything else it will use your regular pto and you will get a point.
Your manager went in and disapproved it the same day you called off. You now have to tell them to go in and approve it.
To avoid this go in from home and put your ppto right away.
