Excuse my ignorance but can someone tell me what’s the standard company severance package in Texas? Also I would like to know if they have mane changes to the severance packages in light of the layoffs, in the sense that they have increased the severance?

there is no standard each company decides what their severance package will be.
In Texas the standard layoff package is a six pack of Coors.
Other E&P companies usually do 2 weeks of pay for every year with a 12 week minimum, 3 months of benefits.
Standard? Lol. There is no standard. Tx is an at will state. They can dump you off with nothing if they choose
