Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Coupons!

So the coupon policy states not to take expired coupons and coupons need to be printed (we can’t scan a barcode on the phone), my DL says to take every coupon (price modify for expired coupons and scan coupon barcodes on a customers phone), and my AP rep tells me to follow the coupon policy.

Why is NO ONE on the same page here?!

Did any Store Manager notice that if you were successful in 2018, with "My Impact", that, in 2019, when they rolled out MCC, your scores dropped??

Yepa, just reduce the cost of a product instead of coupon ....then you lower the threshold amount so their 4 off 20 doesnt work... and you screw the state out of tax money.

Can it get any more brilliant? Is there any doubt why this company is failing?

I'll take pretty much any coupon late. My DL is all about making the customer happy and AP doesnt care as long as we physically have the coupon so 23 get redeemed. Guess I'm lucky in that regard.

CVS' coupon program has become an out of control monster. Now, with the new RX issue of not asking the customer for their card but, assigning them one so, the coupons they get don't match their actual CVS card that "they've had for years" !

Should be, simple right ?! just override it ? LOL , not that easy. Make the customer HAPPY or arouse suspicion of the AP Gods.

How about when the customer has multiple cards, etc etc.....CVS' coupon program is one big cluster f@"k !

If CVS can't get this program to work how in the hell are they going to

Combine these two different companies into one ???

Some DL don't want coupon comments on MCC but obviously AP looks at it as a financial loss. We've been told make the customer happy too.
