April has come and I don’t see anything happening. I there is any truth to the rumor about big hits coming in April, I fear that someone should have at least some info about when could they occur more precisely and what parts of the company are potential targets.

They just closed an office in Austin for VZConnect. Saw it in the paper due to a warm notice requirement.
I expect as always there will be spot layoffs.
They aren’t done letting the people who took the vsp go yet. That won’t happen until the end of June. There will not be any layoffs before then.
Big hits are typically in August with small unannounced layoffs every quarter. You can't publicly layoff thousands every year, and claim you are a great place to work.
