Amazing indeed, the level of due diligence that Google did is exactly zero. Didn’t even read the story on the WSJ. Boneheads!
It's amazing that someone at that level can fail so spectacularly at one company and still be wanted to do exactly the same thing somewhere else. TK must have spun them a line of BS about himself that was beyond belief.
Also met all the a-- missing mo--ns TK Will brings over from O - what an exciting new experience that will be for the googlers!
Google - meet clouds fraud your new source of revenues that oracle has perfected in its cloud playbook. You’re gonna be so happy TK joined your company, NOT!
Hard to tell how is that gonna play. My guess is, if tk decides to play same way as Oracle, First he will start filling up key positions with people he trusts who dont mind the pain, suffering and loss of dignity ro move things ahead. Itll be a company culture switch and shock from what Gogle is now. He then will bring terror but position google in better place wit com petition. Everyone happy, except for legacy Googlers taking the pain. After 5 years of climb his evil empire will not sustain and will start decadence as it becomes identical to Oracle cloud, then we know how that ends.

Google also doesn't take 60 days to approve a deal, has reasonable sla's and real data centers
Only difference is that google has real data centers and real cloud
Google is hanging on by the thread to be a cloud player at #3. I doubt it that TK will make any difference since Microsoft and AWS are way far ahead of Google as dominant cloud players.
Google will be like Oracle which is known for its Search product that's all. Oracle = Database and Google = Search. That's it
maybe he should read the internal and confidential footer on that document

TK will use a better version of oracle cloud at google as he learned from mistakes.
