I happened by the Xerox campus the other day and was surprised to see the parking lot of Bldg 128 empty. I knew Xerox was cutting way back on R&D (including the departure of SH), but to see this particular building apparently completely shuttered was a surprise. Certainly doesn't support the "tech powerhouse" marketing.

That whole east complex from 128 all the way through 105 to 102 has been mothballed as part of the reduction in real estate costs. I've heard there's heat to prevent frozen pipes, but that's it. Can't speak to where R&D might be.
