Reagan did that to increase the profit margin of Americans corporations and every president after that has served the corporations since then.
If the corporations think that are you are replaceable by some third world labor think really how important you are. You are calling names to people who easily relate what you do. May not from your eyes but true replacements are just as good from corporations eyes.
And yes the outsourcing is a two way trade. Reagan’s deal was to give India jobs and in turns getting access to Indian market to sell kinks like phones, computers, washing machines and other junks.
But the problem is still your skill set and the senators you vote for who also work for the corporations.

Vdsi is terrible. In general, Indians are always trying to get over on people vs. doing their job. They're not the only ones, but they don't even try to conceal it. Talking to them is like you're negotiating with them for them to do their job (with integrity). Verizon executives are doing a great job at dividing & distracting. Employees are losing their jobs at an alarming rate, while the executives receive enormous compensation packages. India is the not problem.

Wow...I can’t believe the disgusting comments on this page. I work with a lot of people from India that are good and decent people. Why blame them when they are just trying to make a living. The people that have lined their pockets with the offshoring and outsourcing are the ones to blame for this mess. The Indian good old boy network is alive and well in the ranks of IT, but the people making the decisions are just a select few. Don’t throw everyone else under the bus. Geezzzzz.
