Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

What a crying shame.

So, I see from an article last fall that Bank of New York Mellon CEO Charlie Scharf was ready to plunk down $18.5 million for his dream home — a triplex penthouse with panoramic views overlooking Central Park West. He's run into some problems with this and is now suing. How disgraceful that a loser of this wealth was the deciding factor in laying off hard working, longtime employees, who will never amass his type of money in a lifetime if you took their salaries and times it by a million. Something is so terribly wrong that in our society someone as cruel and heartless has so much control over the lives of the real heart and soul of that Company and society. Here's hoping he loses his suit and feels pain and frustration, like so many of us have had since he joined BNY Mellon. I wish him all the worse.

Yes, clearly Karma but please do not enjoy, root for or wish it on anyone. Acknowledging, reflecting upon and respecting it is a far wiser way to go.

But don't you see the beauty in all this? Karma. LMAO. His money can't buy him anything, not even happiness.

I’d buy nice house(s) too if I were a CEO. Just saying.

The sad thing is that a hardworking chap like Charlie can’t bribe and payoff people to get his modest townhome project completed.
