Success Stories

Who on here has left Sam’s Club and went on to a better life? I know there are some good success stories out there. When I left Sam’s Club, people said this and said that, some scare tactics to keep you in the Wal-Mart mindset, which according to some people is pretty off base— but I knew what I was doing nevertheless. Before severance I went back to college, then I left, now it’s A grades and bliss. Who else has a success story for those that are still stuck-in-a-rut at Sam’s Club? So far success stories AT Sam’s Club involve “riding it out” and “my 401k is this” — well thanks 25+ year associate but you are in the minority now at Sam’s Club and your story doesn’t represent the majority of the audience here in present time.

Ride-or-Die Wal-Martian in the post below. Lots of anger in your words. We are looking for shared-positive experiences here and respected opinions— not hate speech

So successful that you still coming to this website to cause drama. Your new position must not tolerate your b---s---. The company is lucky that you’ve moved on. The one stating the manager who loves his job at the sporting goods is bs, those kind of stores are a dime a dozen, here today gone tomorrow.

I am a success story. Decided to go in a different direction, and couldn't be happier. I only get 2 weeks vacation per year, and 40 hrs sick per year but I'm ok with that. Less stress and less BS from people above me.

I do come look on here every couple weeks. I wouldn't say it's entertainment. More like it gives me relief that I'm not going through the same drama anymore.

My success story involves me getting a paycheck every other week and doing my job without having a pity party for myself.
