In our store it is not that we cannot use the p card to pay, the problem is no contractor wants to deal with anything to do with Sears/kmart/shc/transformco. They were burned during BK for thousands and the word is out to other contractors not to do business with sears. Just look on Primeclerk to see how many small businesses are still owed money.
Took our P-card away a month ago. They werent paying the bills. We also have the utilities sending payment notices to us again. It's like BK all over again

I am a contractor wo did get burned from Sears filing for bankruptcy, now they are turning around and suing us for the 90 days prior to their filing. On top of that the new company TranformCo has stopped paying. Why do work if you never get paid
It is not the p-card that is the problem. The problem is that many local contractors are still owed money from the previous BK. And trust me, when word gets out that someone does not pay their bills or stiffed someone, in the contractor world that is the end of getting anyone out to do work for you. Or if they do come out they will charge double for the work.
Maybe, in your area the contractors did not get stiffed for the money owed. But here on their are many contractors who did not get paid and many were doing work for Sears and Kmart.
Fake news- you give the contractor the P-card they come out. Period.

Makes no sense at all. We have all the lights on, the chillers have been prepped for summer - everything is ready to go. Honestly they’re spending money like, dare I say it, a real company.

Same with vendors - all the decent ones have run away and will not come back, others afraid to do business with them or not wanting their brand tarnished by Sears and Kmarts horrific reputation. But hey Eddie's got this and a new original brand logo that’s going to turn this all arou.... hahahahahaha sorry laughing too hard to finish that last sentence
