I am a new hire in Virgina. I was hired at the end of February and NONE of store is here. The Gm quit the 2 assistant managers quit. All of the sales reps quit. This is very depressing because all I've been hearing about how great it used to be. When I applied to work at Verizon i never imagined I'd be pressured into taking advantage of old people to sell Hum. It's really bad because they have interm GM and rotating ASMs and rotating SS everyday. The people who are helping are slamming the pull through products knowing they will never come back to the store. I'm posting this because I literally did exchanges and returns all day. The interm GM said i need to improve my numbers she will document everytime I dont bundle hum into my purchase reviews. This is a living nightmare

This is what they want, if we all quit they can slowly close stores or go to agents, if we quit or get fired we don't get a severance.... The higher-ups are not stupid, we sell more and make less, they do less and make more. This company has become a joke people are leaving in droves yet the company doesn't care, customers are leaving in droves, but hey we have the network. Wake the hell up!!!! We are in a downward spiral and the people at the top could give 2 shts about it and they are taking in the money for themselves!!

So quit. It's a job, not a career. It's not like you're gaining anything for a career path, you're not "paying your dues" or building karma either. You're just there for as long as they have a transient need for you to do this exact function and then you're gone. It's a job that they're pushing down to being the next step up from stocking shelves at Target.
There are much better companies out there to invest your time and energy into. Go find one and join them. Don't waste your youth on this cr*phone off a company.
Start looking for a new job. It’s not going to get better.
