I like my job at Nike, but I got an offer with significantly higher pay. Does anybody know if Nike has ever offered people an incentive to stay once they say they are leaving - something like higher pay or something to compensate for it?
I'd appreciate any info.
If your Senior Director and VP really like you it can happen, but even then you will get less than the other offer.

When I got to Nike and constantly heard "calibration" I should have known it was a falsehood. Calibration means nothing. If they want you, they want you. If they don't, they don't. Good luck.
I know of at least one woman St. Director who gave notice and ended up being promoted to a VP role. I’m pretty sure this is unusual, but what at Nike is ever consistent? I wonder what Nike was afraid of that they felt they needed to honor her squeeze-play?

I don't know what you do, but you sound young. I would say highly unlikely they'd offer you more. It's not that easy to leave and be re-hired. Unless you have a very special skill and you give dynamic presentations to leadership, they'll most likely either escort you out (if you're going to a competitor) or give you nice goodbye card and some breakfast pastries with your team for your last day.
You’re a body and can be replaced . As I was told their are thousands of applicants who want to work here. That’s true and then they work hard and smart and realize that in order to stay or get ahead you have to play the games. Drink the kool aide and dress in black so you fit in.
Just look forward and you will be fine. If you’re that good you can leave for a year and apply and get an increase.
Personally, you sound lukewarm about "I like my job at Nike." Do they like you? There are many factors but in the end, you are just a body to them. Maybe you will love your new job. Take a chance and leave now. Based on all the comments in this forum you will be happier somewhere else.
It depends. Answer the following questions about yourself with a “yes” and they may try to keep you...
1) are you under thirty years of age?
2) are you multiple years running of highly successful in your CFE?
3) do you believe that your manager sees you as ready for 2 positional jumps in next 2 years? High/high in 9 box?
4: do you get along well with the employees that are empowered backstabbers (usually an under qualified euro)?
If “yes” to all of the above they might keep you. Otherwise you are toast.
That would require abandoning pride for humility, compassion, and pragmatism...so, not likely here.
