Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Nestle going Warehouse

Ok prognosticators, is it “Game Over” ? should I “Hit Send” ? You’ve been telling us to do that for nearly 3 years now. Is now the time? You guys are hysterical.

Just had a lengthy conversation with a nestle employee. He shared this....

“We honestly thought we were too big! And even if we did eventually go we thought we’d be last, maybe 5 more years”! “We all look back and see clearly it was coming”! Sound familiar?? Wake up

Some people just chose to live in the moment only. Those people will regret it! Need to be aware of what’s coming or going. Precisely why companies forecast etc.. People seem to think that backside they are working today their jobs are safe. Yep, it’s been couple of years people have been saying dsd is ending, and look what’s occurred. Hard to ignore! Takes tome to dismantle and overhaul a complete supply chain, reason why Mondelez has been working on it for years.

iPads and phones were free with new contracts, what happens when you buy in such bulk. Some new cars, big deal! They too are leased and can go to people company retains who have older cars. These decisions have no weight on overall decision. Keebler purchased stay in front touch months before they left DSD. Focused on the bigger picture, exactly what Mondelez is doing!

If you prefer to keep you head in the sand cause it’s easier for you, so be it! Won’t change things!!

Moving a company from DSD to warehouse takes time and planning! You are seeing it all first hand, all the red flags! Company is trying to conceal things to keep everyone from quitting! Rah rah! Anyone too dumb to see it deserves what they get! Can’t be anymore obvious!

These type of things rarely happen when you are expecting it... But it will happen.

No, I think you should ignore all the obvious signs that dsd is ending. Wait till you lose your job. When your shi$$y severance runs out, and you can’t pay your bills and only after you put your kids on free lunch at school, so other kids can trade them, that’s when you should hit send! Personally I look at all the red flags, and there are a ton, do a lot of reading and researching, and lastly never take anything anyone says at face value, I ask a lot of questions! For me, saving my family any embarrassment and stress, is the better approach! Sounds like the latter may not be your best approach?
