Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

I guess Reed is leaving.

Found this on the internet:

Marc C. Reed is no longer Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer of the Company, effective July 2019. He is responsible for establishing overall Verizon policy and strategy related to compensation, benefits, labor policy, executive staffing, diversity, ethics and safety/environment. Prior to his current position, he was vice president - Human Resources for Verizon Wireless, responsible for delivery of human resources services such as employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, staffing, diversity, and human resources compliance efforts. Previously, he was vice president - Human Resources for GTE Communications Corporation (GTECC), GTE's competitive local exchange carrier, a position he held since September of 1997. In that company, he was responsible for developing and implementing GTECC's strategic human resources business plan. Prior to that assignment, he was director - Human Resources for GTE Wireless. He began his career with GTE in 1986, as a member of the human resources staff at GTE's World Headquarters. The following year he was appointed to the first of a series of key human resources executive positions at GTE Wireless. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Verizon Communications, the total compensation of Marc Reed at Verizon Communications is $7,352,470.

1) they hired outside the company 2) no way Martha would get, "I got it, I got it" 3) he has been in that job since 2004 4) His gross compensation is well over $65million for his time in country 4) He always had a vision, his vision was what ever he was told to do, for example, cut jobs, get rid of union employees, turn off gmt Pension and H&W, get rid of union employees, and get rid of union employees

Another over paid executive that doesn't belong in a younger group of executives he is pretty close to retirement. He needs to go and the company and share holders should stop rewarding him with over priced executives Another example of greedy worthless Hanger ON executives that produce nothing. He started 33 years ago, let a person that has a vision take the slot you have shown no extraordinary behaviors other than kissing A _ _ !!!!!

If you are in TX for Infosys you will still have a job regardless of having no work in your current role. There’s plenty of assignments there or in other hub areas. Not saying it’s ideal but it could be much worse with being retained with a doomed org.

dire straits, I have no IT work at Infosys after being subsequently rebadged.

I will be out of a job at Infosys after this 28th December 2019.

I will be replaced by another offshore resource in India.

I wish this executive would have helped me when I voiced my appeal.
