Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Customer good will is gone

I survived the 1998, 2003, and 2008 reductions. 2008 was the worst. When it was done, more than half of PDC was dark and you may not see anyone in the halls when walking between locations in PDC. Those left behind (still had Ford jobs) had huge survivor guilt. Hours were brutal but new products needed to be developed and customers were choosing Fords because we didn’t take the bailout from the government. That customer good will made it bare able while were worked to save Ford. Allan was inspirational. Today, that customer good will is gone. I’m not sure what will motivate this RIF’s survivors. I hope there will be something the workforce can rally around.

Perfectly stated, @Z2kP7no-1oaw.
