Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I don’t buy that the lower managers don’t know about incoming changes

Maybe some don’t know, maybe the higher tiers keep them in the dark to some degree, but on the other hand, I haven’t seen a lot of them too surprised when changes are announced.” I didn’t know” is just the easiest thing to say when you are looking directly in the faces of unsatisfied workers, and you know that they will grab the bitter end.

"like he was paid to do"....if anyone wants to know the answer to why you're not being told anything.

When our club closed, it was obvious that a couple of our managers knew before it happened. I'm positive out CM told them. I called one of them out and he played dumb like he was paid to do. What was weird to me is none of management was freaking out about what would happen to them. During our 2 weeks closing down the store, they were fine. Then what do you know? Management restructuring and they were placed in other clubs. They had to know a management restructure was coming. They were all too calm. Even when asked they would say how they will be ok and they're not done with Sam's yet.
