Our club says amigos are no longer allowed outside the building. Management said do not allow them out. If they need help, the member can be taken out in a wheel chair. The members yell at the door greeter for following policy. Management then comes over and allows the amigos out. Management makes the greeters look foolish. They will not back them up.

Ok, now I understand what you are talking about. At our club in Ohio, the amigos have always been allowed to outside. Every grocery store in the area allows this.
We used to park them outside next to handicap parking spots in good weather....take care of the customer.
We tried making the electric carts stay inside. They really are not made for parking lot surfaces. So many members complained to the manager that he gave up and allows the Amigos outside again.
That is the dumbest rule. To not allow the member to take themselves to their car? That is plain laziness! It doesn't take that much time for the cart guy to drive it back inside. People with power trips... Those type go nowhere in life.
Amigos are the name brand of the electric carts people
Most of us don't know what you mean by amigos aren't allowed outside of the building.
It’s not a policy. It’s a one off by the club. They make rules that they will not have to stand in front of the member and tell them no you can’t do that. It’s really simple if the door greater just walkies someone and lets them know hey I’m running out to get an electronic cart or whoever is watching carts gets it and brings it back in. Clubs need to stop making up rules as they go along. Just give customer service and be done with it. Why’s everyone always trying to make it so hard. It’s not rocket science here.
What do you mean by amigos?
