Is there still a PT Accounting position ? I’ve been in Accounting for over 20 years and love it !! I don’t care if it’s just 20 hours a week. I just came back off an LOA and it’s nuts !! Haven’t had time to sit with our manager as he’s had the door closed talking to all FT on block scheduling. It’s so sad !! The Sams Club I knew and loved is no more ! They get rid of all these positions yet take the MSS off the front to do orientations and other PTC stuff. Pulls another MSS to do click n pulls. FRont end and members suffer. And then everyone gets b--chy .

This is all a joke . I’ve been training someone for about 3 weeks and she doesn’t get it . I don’t care anymore I’m leaving and I can’t wait to get it . Our club is the worse club managers are terrible to their associates and no one seems to care . We deserve to work for a company that cares about us as people . Now it’s all about money not our members and our members know it .
Was just informed by the CM about the new change. We are now considered part of the front end. Our job description changed, I think it said Frontline Member Service. I still do the accounting portion in the morning but can be scheduled anywhere. They're is a job training you have to complete on the WIRE...So they essentially eliminated the position. I'll be honest, was hoping they would just let me go but the company is a lot more clever than I am.
Accounting has milked this sh-- until the fat lady sings, let me tell you she’s a humming loudly.
Accounting will be rolled into Frontline Associate, which is also cashier, host, and t-b-cco.

Here what I found out: they want management to deal with accounting. There been words for months now the Accounting will merge with Front End or become leads of department if they chose to.
Doubt MSS will do all the calling when the Recycler machine goes down and the long/short. Somebody is going to do flavors for associates.
June 22 will be the day of changes and it will go downhill,
No you ALL do not do good for the company !! ALOT of lazy MSS’s , Team Leaders !!! All sitting in office with thier starbucks !!! Give me an Fn break !!! Let’s recognize the hard workers !!!

We got that news a week ago , I refuse to go from accounting to whatever job they
choose to give that day with less pay NOT happening ...Good luck to those who choose to stay ..I'm quitting..
What exactly are they going to do in the office ??? I mean, I covered accounting for 2 weeks previously and dug into over/shorts and found 2000.00 in April errors that the two in the office wrote off as “Unexplained Shortages”. I also took apart all the registers and found a check from 2018 and over 500.00 in cash !! What about refund slips, bank reports, etc ???
Accounting is eliminated on June 22nd. COS's will do accounting from 6 a to 7 a in the mornings. We are being rolled into cashiers.
