I'm not the person that should be making an apology but you are certainly owed one. Your legacy was tarnished beyond repair when a hack of CEO made a deal with the devil and sold your company to one of the worst in American history.
I used to hate the thought of BNY someday removing your great name from the company. Now I hope for it as it does not deserve to be spoken so often in a negative manner.
Mellon made his millions, like the capitalist he was. I don’t feel sorry for him any more than I feel sorry for the capitalists currently running this or any other business. Pity the workers that haven’t yet figured out the system.
