Hearing Dyn got shut down finally. Anyone have confirmation on this? Are they laying off all of the staff?

Dee Jay only wants people in Seattle or Redwood Shores. Dyn is indeed effectively over and its leaders and people are currently scurrying around like rats on a sinking ship looking to exit to avoid drowning. Many of them will be able to find new jobs in New Hampshire or Boston area, though.
Goodbye Dyn. We hardly knew you.
They are cutting the sales and marketing orgs, NOT the engineering org. They are parting with the "GBU" as everything is getting migrated to OCI.
And in true Oracle form there will be no new innovation out of Dyn as most of these people are gone or going. It will be in maintenance mode and be outdated and irrelevant in a year or two.
Because OCI had no DNS, SMTP or WAF capabilities which are mandatory in IaaS.
So they acquired Dyn who did, ported the tech to OCI, and laid off the team.
They riffed some staff from that org during the big layoff round. So I won’t be surprised if the product is closing down.
What I cannot understand, why did they buy them if they wanted to shut them down?
some folks on their team.
Where did you hear this? Source?
