Wow, eerily familiar! Read flags for five years; shuttles from warehouses the last couple years, red flags galore! They post how much they wished they paid attention to what’s now, obvious red flags! Not a single employee at Mondelez can pretend they didn’t know! As a matter a fact, many made excuses! Pathetic and sad!! They will regret it!!

Jobs are everywhere, but good jobs take time to find....just sayin! Another 5k people are going to be looking for jobs now with nestle. I’m retiring so I don’t care, but if I wasn’t I sure would be be looking now!
Nestle does not have official dates, rep told me this am! All speculation, they were told they would get 60 days notice with end of Q1 2020 being the last possible time! They were also told in an email, he showed me today that they were not to share info with retailers 🤣! Haha! Why? Same reason Mondelez is so quiet on this!

You may be correct. I'm just relaying what I was told today. I don't think they'll pull the plug this year. They would've told us by now if we are exiting dsd this year. Nestle was given notice last week. Dsd ends for them in October in Walmart and Kroger. 1st of 2020 everywhere else
Funny, cause I heard something totally different! Believe what you want, but we are way too close for three years in my opinion! Frito reps have shared they are about three years away before it’s all drops, but their distribution channels are not at all like ours, or Keebler’s, or Hostess, or now Nestle! Our DSD model is exactly like theirs!! I won’t put a date out because nobody knows but senior management, but I’d be shocked if we got out of 2019. It doesn’t matter to me, I’m smart enough to get the heck out! My family means too much to me and it’s so much easier to find a job when you have one!!
Dsd isn't ending this year. I was told by a Kroger manager today that he heard we're 3 years away before dsd ends

Michelle, I think what DC may be trying to tell you is this....your manager may not technically be lying to you, but he isn’t exactly sharing the whole story. See, by keeping management in the dark, like employees, they don’t have to worry about anything being leaked before they are ready to share.
Michelle you really need to do your own homework, advocate for yourself!! It’s pretty obvious where we are headed! I had a phone interview today with another consumers good company and what they said...”very smart of you, pretty obvious where things are going”! You really should not be so naive and take what someone tells you at face value! You owe it to yourself to ask a few questions. You’ll likely see your DM squirm a little, mine sure does!

Hi DC! Do you honestly believe the phrase,”business as usual” is realistic? Maybe in the get up and go to work sense? Have you seen changes in the way we currently do business!???? I’ve sure seen a lot! DC, I’m too am a member of management, at least right now, and although we haven’t received “the call”, its pretty apparent where we are headed. Not sure DC if you’ve shared how long you’ve been with Mondelez, but irregardless I’d never use the phrase “business as usual”, and expect any credibility!
Michelle is just relaying what his DM is telling her. Her DM is relaying what he is being told from upper management. He isn't lying. Everything's been positive. Business as usual.

Hey Michelle, I’m a DM, and let’s just say...you are really gonna kick yourself! Sorry to burst your bubble, you may be a hard worker etc, but there is no future here! At least not for merchandisers and anyone else need a bachelors degree. Your DM is telling you that so he doesn’t have to backfill your position if you were to leave. Put your family first!
Ask your DM who is driving the decision and then revisit all the red flags!

The “new CAO” silly is to a process sime people have come up with to convince themselves all the red flags are ok, and just ignore them! It’s hard work for them and keeps getting harder. It’s ok, they are rich from all the money they make throwing cookies and crackers. Guess it’s perspective, I’m in sales and am at the top of the pay scale, and I don’t consider myself rich. Perspective I guess, I live in a brick house, maybe I’d be rich if I lived in a trailer park? My children pay for their lunch...perspective!
Mondelez isn’t revolutionary, they have not developed a new CAO! What they are is liars! And they’ve found the audience they we’re looking for, a portion of the employees who are gullible and willing to believe the bs because they are afraid to face reality....DSD is ending! My retailers have all told me so, just open up your eyes!
Think about it people! Even if your "new dsd" fantasy is somehow realized. You will be guaranteed to be miserable. There has been so much ridiculous cost cutting and contraction that the company's ability to capitalize on the market or growth has been almost totally eliminated.

New DSD is what we're doing now silly boy. Cao to make orders better. Also it gives the rep more time to sell!!!! We are k--ling the competition!! We are revolutionizing the new dsd!! With that formula we will be here for years to come. One team!!
