There is no way our Door Greeters can work the desk. Sounds like age discrimination. Most are not computer literate. Is Sam's really picking on our Door Greeters?

No, no, no. Sorry you can’t be a door greeter. The original poster said they were all old and computer illiterate and you do not fit that profile.

Major problem with some of the younger associates they forget the many of the door greeters had careers before being a door greeters. Many owned their own business,were teachers, accounts etc.

Sorry you do not fit the perception of the door greeter according to this poster, you do not exist. You must be really old, computer illiterate, not be able to stand for more than three minutes, or lastly be able to do anything other than hide behind the door in order to be a door greeter, so says the person that decided to group all door greeters together.

I am a door greeter and I have a college degree plus work on a master's. I think I can handle it
I am sure they have quite a few people on a legal team that work through anything that would be potential lawsuits. Additionally, the likelihood and potential payouts it would require. Multiple lawsuits are filed daily against Walmart inc. Walmart stores has changed responsibilities/job description for their door greeters, multiple times throughout its history of evolution in the retail world. Why would now, or for the matter SamsClub, be any different in changing what their job description requires them to do?
So continue age discrimination and assume that most are computer illiterate or cannot learn how to use a computer. If the job description states that they have to use computers then they can or will if they’ve signed it. Kinda sounds like you’re another that’s just stirring a pot you have no clue about.
