Got to do something else and fast. All this stuff hurts but doing nothing while the print business slips away at 10% a year would be insane. They’ve got to get the ship to different port before it sinks.

The would require a leader, of which Xerox lacks altogether.
There is nothing wrong with Java. Any fortune 500 programs in Java. Once start ups make it, they convert there code to Java.
Xerox hardware is poor in many ways compared to the compitition, as is the service, and price.
The network IS the computer, haven't you learned by now? By using JAVA from SUN Micro, there is no need to worry. Take a look at the uh, beautiful UI...it's there! The network IS the computer!
