Lowes management here in WV not working with employees schedules that need public transportation to get to work such as city buses not damn uber or lyft ..

This post reminds me of a woman we used to have in the hardware/tools department who was secretly dating the manager of building materials. She felt that Lowe's should schedule her and her beloved together so they could carpool. It was bad enough that she and he didn't do any work when they were scheduled together. She was constantly hiding in the store so she could s-xt him. Neither of them was any great prize.
unfortunately how you get to work is your own responsibility. theres plenty of excellent reasons why an employer is not going to get involved with this. when you take a job you actually certify to your employer that you have reliable transportation to and from work. the hardship of having to take public transportation s---s.......but the burden here is on the employee not the employer.
@Z8udKfO-hjf- you are either a young punk or a "wonderful" manager. Empathy is not your strong suit. Most places will work with schedules, even Wal-mart. Be sure your mom gets you up on time to go berate your co-workers.
What job works around a bus schedule? The job pays you to be there at the time they need you. You are free to find a different job. How you get to work is not their concern. If you take the job you fill out an availability sheet. You agree to be able to be there during a certain time, they agree to schedule you during that time. If it doesn't work for you, find a different job that does.
I do not think its right but they are not worried about your transportation issues. If your shift starts at 2 and the bus would get you there at 1 or 3, unfortunately they expext you to get there and wait! S---s but God bless
