Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Left 2 months ago

I left Oracle about two months ago and working for an SI. I was surprised to hear from a team that recently released an application on OCI that it’s pretty good in terms of performance. They found some bugs in the implementation of Kubernetes but didn’t bother opening an SR since they know how bad Oracle support is. They also said that the management tools provided are lacking behind AWS and Azure.

Is the SI you are working for really so stupid they did not contact Support to file bugs they found? Apparently you joined them because of your level of stupidity as well if you think that Oracle Support being good or bad is based on bugs found in the product. Support did not put the bugs in there, you id--t. Complain to the people who keep developing this sh-- rather than whining about Support who is stuck with same c-ap and are stuck trying to help id--ts like you. How about instead of blaming support, you pull your head out of your a-- and realize that Support probably just received the product the same time you did and may or may not have been trained on it and really sincerely wants to help you and learn the product but are not omniscient.

Deep pockets (until the stock tanks) and shallow short sighted inept management
