So were all told that we have to be put on a block schedule. But has anyone seen this in black and white? Were signing for this schedule shouldn't we get a terms and conditions. Were being told we cant have a life outside of work basically. What about the ones who have children school activities. What are they suppose to do?

Block scheduling is just a buzz word to use to sound hip. With the latest changes it is just covering up the fact that Corp wants to control the head count.
So now I get a single weekend off but have to give up having days off in row with the exception of the weekend off and only 1 day off stays the same. Red Prairie was built around this principle among others. One of the main causes that got RP to get the white washing was that it tried to use an algorithm that said have the most associates when you are busy and life will be great. The problem is that it only allowed for a 1 hour prep to keep most areas stocked for a 6 hour period. Clearly whoever thought that was good idea probably doesn't do any shopping for themselves.
Off the Wall Scheduling to save paper and appear green. This is now followed by the fact that Walmart shut down Walmartone and wants everyone to 2 step. Yeah nothing says we have our finger on the pulse, because it is well knowing that no one likes apps. You know apps that with a tap of your finger and just about everything you need appears.

What s---s with block scheduling is if you have a 2nd job and now dont get those days off that you work your other job. Now you suddenly have to choose? How is that fair?

I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for another change.. I’ve already started the job searching but would prefer not to start over. I enjoy what I do :(
