Has anyone at the desk of tires been told they had to be a tire tech since the desk position has been eliminated!?

our TIre sales associate has been with the company 30+ years.. and the last 10+ in her postion. They offered her to work in the cafe since the tech job is outside of her limitations.. (she's spry for her age but still can only do so much) She hasn't given an official response but pretty sure it's gonna be vulgar.
We haven't even had a desk associate in years!!

I am a jewelry lead who post some sense into all the nonsense gossip that isn’t true around here. No changes coming for jewelry leads.
I am not married to a tire worker. My husband has been gone since 2001 bless his soul he doesn’t have to see what a liberal mess this country has become.
