Time goes by and not only the IT CIO is gone, his entourage gone, but also his different roles are reassigned in full, all but IT.

Never thought I would say this, but I actually miss KM!!! It was better than a complete void of leadership.
"Leadership" and management of IT currently in a nearly completely disastrous state. It's like not even one person wants to be there anymore.
Leo DiCaprio would be the best CIO ever...Kate Winslet could be the HGR VP....they could consumate their love during ELDP....and hatch an android 9 months later :)
they are already scrutinizing the talent in IT to fish out any good talent worth transferring before making big changes.
The word TITANIC comes to mind. They’re putting a few on lifeboats. The rest will sink.
When Finance guys are in charge, as is the case at Honeywell, this is all they know how to do - look at numbers, don't worry about how they were generated, and when any trouble is brewing - I mean anything - fire someone or make a bold change in personnel. They have no idea what the workers do, what it takes to make product, nor do they care. They are using Hon as their personal way to try to put $$ in their pockets. If the $$ isn't coming fast enough, they leave.
With Aero CEO running the show for the next few months, prepare for huge RIF and ReOrg
He's the guy would told all of Aero IT they were out of a job. And you had to apply for a new job. And there were 15% less jobs than people.
His goal from Darius is now to get 100% of IT in hubs not the publicly posted goal of 90%
Prepare for the RIF
And what outside CIO would want to come into a place where they didn't get to setup the Org....??. only a bad unemployed one. The downhill slide continues
Who is taking care of e-mail during this leadership chasam? God knows, that goes out, and leaders will be crying like stuck pigs..
Looking pretty bad for IT one might say.
