Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Slack off as much as possible

Hahahahaha....do as little as possible people from here on out. The company will not even offer as a decent servance package as they will layoff people in waves. This is pretty obvious in the fact that our product is being ordered through Kroger and Walmart’s CAO. There won’t be any big announcement of DSD exit just announcements of layoffs.

We were told the same, problem is that I have gone from full shelves and displays and ZERO backstock to empty shelves and losing displays because they are empty and full backrooms.

It's all BS, they are just trying to force us to get onhands correct before they pull the plug

Just last couple of weeks all orders have gone to non adjustable EDIs in Wal Mart. The reason we were given is that Wal Mart wants to get back stock under control. Not buying that! What were the rest of you told?

Yep, missed again! Nothing better than to see these missed numbers, warms my heart to the core! One more month and we will miss the quarter! Got my work cut out for me to make sure my DM misses! I got this! Hahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This job is awesome! Not worrying about hitting numbers make this job so fun! Go to work and go home, no more stress! Yes!!! I should have done this so long ago as suggested! At least I can do it from here on out!

I can’t wait for the change! I’ll enjoy my severance after 20 years, unemployment, and maybe more! Until then I love missing my objectives! I just hope I can miss by enough it screws my DM, that’s the best! So far so good! “The new CAO”, shame on them!

I talked to project manager from Jyve. They are indeed out of California and will get Nabisco work. Tackling one vendor at a time! Mondelez’s turn is coming up!

I also heard about that. I know one of our Meijer accounts in Michigan had a big meeting with that company with Meijer higher ups a few weeks ago. Our company was one of the contracts they want. I can’t remember the name though. Changes are coming people.

Nabisco is already working with a 3rd party testing merchandising in California. Won’t be long before it rolls out every where.

It’s a totally new ballgame for corporations! With social media and people having the ability to share information, they can’t get away with things they used to!! The tide has turned indeed!!

How many people have been promoted,

over the age of 25? 🤔 Yeah, jobs not getting posted, instead people are called in. Used to be you had to have experience as a rep to be promoted....not anymore. GS makes up rules....he will continue until he is stopped! The tide is turning! Keep good notes!!

Your DM is repeating what they are being told! They are only being told what they want you to know! They know the whole story, you are not getting it! There are

many different ways to tell the same story and they can all hold different meanings. It really up to you to pull up your big person pants and ask a few questions. If things don’t make sense, there is probably a reason! I think it’s starting to soak in for you!! Your job will end if you are in field sales! Tenure will play a role. It will be difficult to base who they will keep based on performance. For the past years they have NOT monitored DM’s and objective setting. If they base layoffs on performance they will no doubt have a class action lawsuit filed!! That would be wonderful. People will be able to go after future earning. The only real way to do it to avoid that would be tenure.

It will be interesting no doubt! As an employee we have the right to get a list of ages of all those let go! This should eliminate them getting rid of the old timers! Should be interesting!!

This is so confusing y'all!! My DM saying one thing then y'all paint a different picture on here!! Someone's definitely lying. I just wish someone would tell us something soon!! I should've taken that other position instead of listening to my DM. Oh well I'm young. Maybe they'll keep me.

You are simply repeating what you are being told and it’s not true! It is crazy to hear some of the things being posted, like CAO are better orders! Current CAO orders are based STRICTLY on order history! No on hands! Guess what happens after a HDO?Tries to reorder the same quantities.

Is that good? Nope! If you aren’t familiar with order writing or stay in touch front, CAO, EDI, etc it’s best not to comment. Those posts make no sense. Show that whomever is posting is simply repeating what they are being told, which is simply not true!

It’s really funny, merchandisers are the ones that seem to care about things more than anyone else and they are ones that are gonna be screwed more than anyone else! Zero severance! Heck, our merchandisers don’t even get a holiday wish! I treat my dog better! I sure would not stick around!!
