Some quit jobs to come back and it all got cancelled. Couple guys got to work one shift. They care so much for us employees.

As of 1300 today they cancelled these call backs
20 machinist not 10
100 percent true 10 machinist and 10 electricians where called back. Up picked up some coal business that but back into service several locomotives thats why they where called back.

The reply that confirmed this to be true was removed a day or so ago. Most likely for the part that said that the shop is all backed up since Paul Smith left and took his dripping tree of knowledge with him which was a reference to a service salute that was posted on the website a couple weeks ago. Kind of amazing how random postings get deleted on this site.....

That place would be 100 times better if they would can the dumb--s shop director. I've never seen such an unprofessional unhinged and id--tic individual in a position of power.
Please we were warned in 2016 when they furloughed and last fall and this spring. You take your chance any where you work.

Well it’s true that np guys are being called back. But it’s sad that Paul Smith did quit. Only man I know that’s in his 50’s and has over 120 yrs of knowledge on many different jobs. And don’t forget the Stach

Np is so backed up with broke junk they need to call back some to get caught up and cover vacation since most overtime is not getting filled. Hope those coming back don't get too comfortable though, they will be kicked back to the curb once we get caught up and get past vacation season.
