Lazy is the word at Sam's Club. I have never worked with so many lazy people in my life. no one gives a c-ap about anything,. The Managers spend more time doing nothing ( coffee, sell phones , smoking in the office).Shrink is out of Control, 10 foot rule is no more, just Sad ): Some one at the top needs to wake up and get this ship back on the right path! do it for Mr. Walton! R I P!

At our club our managers do their best except for a few who do their own thing and could not care less if the building was on fire.
The bigger issue is with all the changes the Home Office has rolled out over the years. Removing audit team, claims, PTC, business office, etc.. block scheduling, pallet skirts, runner program, pushing credit/plus, the list of bad choices goes on and on and on.
The lack of focus on what is needed: member service, products, low prices is astounding. The lines in our club are ridiculous but with no cashiers, self check outs that do not except cash (is it not 2019?) There is no end in sight.
We have a manager who smokes e- cig. in the office all the time and all the other managers just play on their phones and stuff their faces with whatever they feel like writing off for that day. And yes they walk around with coffee in their hand and they have to walk around in pairs because that makes it look like they are doing something important. The ONLY time they care about anything is when we have higher ups coming to visit.

"Coffee," yes. I see managers drinking coffee.
"Sell phones?" You're funny. If you don't know why they're using their cell phones, you aren't really an employee of Sam's Club.
"Smoking in the office." You do realise this isn't the 60's, right?
Do you not get it? They do not care. This is their plan. They will no longer be the Sam's club we knew. The dramatic changes are on purpose to get people to quit and it's working.
