All leads and COS's at my club were told they recieve a $4 pay raise. The marketing team lead is not included in this. Are they getting rid of marketing team lead and advantage coordinator? Has anyone had marketing eliminated from their club recently?

It will probably go to online marketing. How many times does the marketing team go out and get paid mileage and come back with very little sign ups??? There isn’t a good ROI in that. They make big goodie bags and give them away and still don’t get new memberships. Most the money is in upgrades and renewals. New memberships can be acquired thru online marketing.
It's Unbelievable that Marketing Lead Didn't Receive a Pay Increase. Sam's Club Share Holders are Full of Sh--. That's why I left Sam's Club, they don't care about Marketing Leads Going an extra miles for Sales. Not to mention Blitz Week where you out in the field every dam day. Sam's Club is a Joke. I hope all Marketing Leads resign. Let the Share Holders Go out an Sell Memberships. Costco is better Sam's Club 100% . If Marketing Leads had any SENSE PLEASE GET THE HELL OUT!!!.
Comp shoppers were eliminated in most markets five to six years ago. Most clubs had the GCCM responsible for sign changes using t-b-cco associates.
Marketing is history, just look at what they did to the Comp shoppers! Who basically worked on their own. Should have never been put in block scheduling .Took job away with no severance, put them up front with member service, door greeters, runners, cashiers, as member support. Most of these people had many years with the company, as a Competition shopper, worked their asses off sweating with no help overnight, hanging up in the range of 500 plus signs doing their instant savings, with no differential pay like the night crew, heard they get to keep their pay just being put to day time. Worked holidays too for this program. Never got a lousy dime extra for this or their one day events, which may I add were on their days off Saturdays, but have to work saturdays now with block! Never got anything for their newest program New Lower price investment. Which was about 1000 signs, plus maintaining everyday, plus price changes everyday, which now we hear team leads are responsible for, YEA! Good Luck with that! Comping, comp updating in system. I can go on and on. If anybody got the shaft it was the comp shoppers, having to go back to square one as a cashier, working weekends, that they started with many moons ago! Completely Wronged! Disgraceful!
If zi was marketing lead i would stop doing the sh-- mine does, orders supplies, cos went short hsnded personal ect. She deserves the raise
Share holders should take a better look at what they're doing. Marketing plays a huge Factor in Sam's club. Marketing Lead suppose to get raise just like everybody else. It not fair for them to go out an promote for Sam's Club everyday, rain, cold. Hot weather an NO RAISE. I would have resigned the same day.

COSs are making 18$ an hr starting Saturday and there are no more PT COSs the one PT COS we had had to go to FT or step down,,, I was told today the market lead didnt get the raise and she is also worried that they are going to cut the marketing dept

Yes all COS and team leads. I'm unsure about part time COS but full time COS received a raise as well. Everyone I believe is at $18 an hour now
Did COS’S get another 4 on top of them making $15 now??
