did the conductor assist the emergency response personnel and the dispatcher with things like knowing what was on the train and where or did they just go straight to the engineer? just wondering since they want to go to one person crews.
Manager probably signed off the wheel report as good and deferred the defects since the workers didnt want to sign it off........Oops!! This is UP's new norm.

Probably one of those short handed 30 second inspection jobs Vener* and UP management is pushing! Just glad it didn’t happen in a heavily populated area!
