Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Is Sam's a better company than it was a year ago?

Is there anybody here who can identify things positive to come out of all the changes that have been implemented in the past year?

Anything that you could point to and say, yes this is much better and it's made us a better comp than we were before?

The end is near. Can’t wait for 2023 when they end the 5 year bust plan and close up the company.

NO - culture is horrible. Home office doesn’t care about work life balance and doesn’t have respect for the individual. They come in blast the club and fire managers.

Sam's Club S---!!! The best thing to do is leave. This Company doesn't care about you. Look how they're doing the Marketing Leads. Everyone get's a Raise but the Marketing Leads. Marketing is important at Sam's Club. All Marketing Lead Get Out!!!

There are leads out there with set schedules . Nothing has changed.

I will say that they're allowing associates to have set schedules now. The downside is that team leads don't. Actually, they were going to allow them to have a set schedule, and then they changed their mind, so leads still can't build a life outside of work.

Other than that . . . Not really?

No No and No. how can anyone suggest things are better. Assistant Managers worried about their jobs, useless leads who were going to step down finding out they are getting raises and deciding not to step down. What a joke
