The entire industry seems to be going through the same thing, so I'm not sure what options do we have even if we want to leave? Any ideas?

Depends on your location and your job/skills and whether or not you're willing and able to relocate.
Some areas have a lot of dairy manufactureres. Other areas DF may be the only one. Drivers and maintenamce porbably have the most options available to them in most areas
