Back in the day when they called a level 4 all floor associates were required to go to the front end and help. Usually took less than 15 minutes and all this b--ching we did not hear because it was just part of the job and you knew it when you were hired and cashiers made more money than the floor associates but back then of course everyone didn't have cell phones they played on while working.
No training Here HAVE like 40 CBLS not enough staff to get trained or sit in computer lies about going full time when there is needs everywhere I finally said forget it all and put my 2 weeks in doubt I’ll even go my last week they seriously screwed up my schedule they knew I was quiting like they forcing part timers out anyway what a joke
As a door greeter I can do the job at the membership desk but am I going to NO I am not why should I go do a job that the employees get paid almost 2.00 more a hour than I do
The leads making $18 should have taken it upon themselves to cross train their team. Especially since member complaints on MX Voices will affect their Sam’s Share.
Your newly overpaid fresh leads will be assisting on the front end.
A level is where we call for help at the desk all because the line is long!!!!! And as far as training nobody is trained to work the desk!!!!!!!
They should also be able to do click n pull, cashier, clean, know how to hand someone photos and be able to answer the simplest of questions, like if we carry a product and maybe where to look for it. Will some door greaters be able to do all that, probably not. Now the more important thing, will you ever go without a door greater? No, right? So unless you’re massively over scheduled up there I’m guessing this isn’t an issue.
With the new way Associates are grouped Desk Associates and Door Greeters are in the same group and all employees in that group of workers should be fully trained to cover whatever needs to be done. A level is when there is more members in line than you have Associates to help so you pull from other areas to help take care of them as quickly and efficiently as possible! So in other words both Door Greeters and Desk Associates should be able to successfully do one another’s jobs!
What is "having a level" ? What do the People Greeters have to do with "levels"?
