Kudos to our teams!

I'd like to give a toast to success! Thank you to each of you whose effort and hard work contributed to our tremendous continuous success - with revenue coming in at $11.13 billion (versus $10.95 expected by Wall Street we have, yet again, demonstrated that we can continue to deliver to our customers while value is created for our share holders. Thank you Oracle teams!

When entire team, even locations, are decimated. When support staff are let go, you have to acknowledge that factors, other than performance, are at play.

Not saying that it may not be a good business reason, just that performance is not the only criteria to determine who is released.

Yeah, that's becoming obvious. Luckily they are easy to spot.

Kudos to ALL those who contributed to our Q4 success, including those who are no longer with us, based upon a corporate decision.

Many of those who are gone were good and productive users, and certainly not the losers some here will portray them as.

Revenue growth year over year was 0%. Cash (including short term marketable securities, which are money market bonds) shrank by 29 BILLION in one year, and now there is only 37 billion left. The money was spent on stock buybacks (which caused the EPS to go up) and acquisitions like Netsuite, which is still growing ... even with that, there was no revenue growth. This is not sustainable, not even for one more year.
